Wreath like key chain (so sorry that my picture don't turn out so well)
Since I love crafting, and I haven't done one for ages (blame that teaching practice for keeping my life busy), I decided to spend some of my nap time for it. I love cute and small stuff , so I end up making small wreath like key chain. It was so simple and don't require many raw material, just prepare these:
a. any hard card/cardboard/unwanted box
b.ribbons
c.buttons/crochets/embellishments
d.hot glue gun
e.scissor/pencil/round item
- First step: draw a circle on hard card follow by small circle in the middle of your first circle. Make sure the first circle is bigger than the second circle (mine using diameter 5.5cm for the first circle and diameter 3.4cm for second circle).
- Second step:Cut out the circle, and it will turn out to be like a small donut form (just like in the picture below)
- Third step:Take out a ribbon, and glue the end of the ribbon before you start wrapping. Make sure your cover all the circle with the ribbon. Again use hot glue gun to attach the other end of the ribbon after finish wrapping.
- Fourth step: Use your creativity to decorate your wreath like key chain with the buttons o crochets and glue it. Make sure it attach to the wreath like key chain.
- Final step: Attach key chain strap to the small wreath (you can use eyelet punch for it).Ta da! Now, you have a new key chain in your collection.
I end up making four of it (Cause it was so cute, adorable and simple). It also don't take long time to make one, around five minutes for each and the best part is I can still have my nap.Hahaha (I'm a sleep addict you know). Good Luck!
Glue the end of the ribbon with glue gun before wrapping the circle.
Make sure you covered all the circle with ribbon.
Take out your buttons, crochets or whatever you like for decoration (anything will do but make sure the items just in the right size).
